The New Dumb is more than just the band responsible for some of the best show flyers in the city, as this lovable local trio has been churning out some ultra-fine McLusky-flavored DIY indie rock since 2006's "This Could Be Disastrous." But the scene veterans are saying goodbye for the time being, as drummer Brian "Neogonzo" Rusnica posted on Lemmingtrail that the other dudes in the band are expecting children. Crazy! The New Dumb is truly the 1994 Arnold Schwarzenegger flick "Junior" of Boston's rock scene, and no doubt will be lending their fertile male bodies to science. Joining their farewell is sassy post-punk harmonic kids Nassy, "molar-gnashing" punk dudes Rat City 3 and Aloha Sarcophagus, which keeps the whole giving birth theme alive with a CD release party...
